Murphy is recruiting for a Administrator/Support Coordinator to work within or wider Finance team at our Uxbridge Moor Project - SL0 0ED. This is a site-based role.
Operating in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada, and the USA, Murphy provides better-engineered solutions to infrastructure sectors including transportation, water, power, and natural resources. To ensure our project teams run smoothly, robust support functions are vital.

The ideal applicant will be responsible for delivering key financial processes and administrative activities to support the project. Working in a fast-paced environment, strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
A day in the life of a Murphy Administrator/Support Coordinator
* Take accountability for executing key finance and project processes (raising requisitions, GRN orders, reporting status) related to ordering materials, resources, and plant.
* Collaborate with Site Managers on weekly paid and agency labour processes (e.g., timesheet collection, coding, overtime requests).
* Use the designated accounting system for processing project transactions and generating reports.
* Run weekly management order reports, review them, and attend meetings with the Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor as needed.
* Identify and escalate issues to the Project Manager regarding site process compliance that could impact financial accuracy.
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement and sharing best practices within the team.

* Relevant experience in transaction processing roles (AP, purchase ledger, procurement, finance) or broad business administration.
* Experience in the construction industry or similar is advantageous.
* Excellent relationship-building skills.
* High emotional intelligence.
* Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with systems.
* Ability to drive is required due to site location - SL0 0ED.
