The Non-Residential EFL Teacher is responsible for delivering 20 hours of engaging English language tuition per week, while also contributing 10 hours to the student experience through pastoral care and limited supervision duties. This role is ideal for teachers who are enthusiastic, flexible, and passionate about working with international learners in a short-course context.

Qualifications & Experience A recognised ELT qualification (CELTA, Trinity CertTESOL, DELTA, or equivalent). University degree (essential). Experience teaching English to young learners or teenagers, ideally in a summer school or short-course context. Awareness of safeguarding and pastoral care responsibilities. Working Conditions 30 hours per week: 20 teaching + 10 pastoral/supervisory duties. Non-residential role: candidates must arrange their own accommodation and travel. Some evening or weekend work may be required as part of the rota.

Pastoral & Supervisory Duties (5 hours per week): Assist with student induction and placement testing. Support student welfare by being approachable and attentive to concerns. Participate in limited supervision duties (e.g., during breaks, mealtimes, or assemblies). Ensure safeguarding, child protection, and welfare policies are upheld at all times. Collaborate with management to ensure a safe and positive environment for students.
