About Us: Briggs Equipment Group is a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across UK and Ireland. We have a new opportunity for a Management Accountant to join our successful Finance team in Lisburn.
Support the Finance Manager in producing accurate Management Accounts, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and driving process improvements.
Lead and develop team members, promoting growth and high performance aligned with company values.
Assist Group Tax with VAT, tax, customs and other statutory returns, and respond to wider group requests.
Produce cash flow forecasts and support capital expenditure planning.
Prepare monthly management accounts with variance analysis and reforecasts for senior review.
Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Maintain accurate fixed asset records in partnership with operations.
What will help you to excel in this role:
Finalist (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)/Qualified by experience
Extensive financial accounting experience, including preparation to trial balance and full management accounts level.
Advanced Excel capability, including experience of pivot tables and lookups.
Significant understanding of Processes / Accounting Principles.
Strong understanding of finance systems and required controls.
