Join or sign in to apply for the Tesco Colleague - Shaftesbury Superstore role at Tesco. Salary starts from £12.45 per hour and increases to £13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location. It is Tesco policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week; roles may also be available with a minimum of 12 hours if requested.
Availability windows are provided to indicate preferred times during the week. Shifts will be scheduled within these times with 3 weeks’ notice. Tesco supports flexibility where possible.

Responsibilities
* Knowing your customers and serving them with passion and pride; delivering great natural service.
* Being passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services within the store.
* Working across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas where required.
* Putting training into practice to work safely, effectively and to serve customers brilliantly.
* Making decisions that are right for customers and delivering routines in store that meet customer needs at the right time.
* Taking part in seasonal, community and charity events to create a great inclusive atmosphere.
* Being knowledgeable about store performance and understanding the role in driving service, sales, waste reduction and profit.
* Handling products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in good condition.
* Being yourself, living Tesco values, making everyone feel welcome and following policies.
* Occasionally assisting with deliveries into the store as required.
