Duties as Sales Manager will include: Work in close partnership with the Director to craft and implement a commercially driven sales approach, targeting ideal customer profiles and high margin service areas. Spot and capitalise on opportunities to broaden our footprint within existing accounts strengthening client relationships and increasing long term revenue. Guide and energise the sales team to exceed expectations monitoring performance, setting ambitious benchmarks and fine tuning tactics to maintain pace with company growth objectives. Proactively identify, qualify and pursue top tier prospects across diverse service lines managing each opportunity through the full sales journey from introduction to close. Take ownership of lead generation efforts, collaborating with Marketing to align on campaign direction and ensure a steady flow of high conversion opportunities. Keep a pulse on the market by dissecting lost opportunities, tracking industry movements and benchmarking against competitors to inform smarter sales strategies. Act as a trusted ambassador during client engagements conducting face to face meetings, uncovering client challenges and shaping tailored, high impact solutions. Ensure sales forecasts are sharp and reliable by maintaining robust CRM records and providing timely, data backed performance insights to support strategic decisions. The requirements to succeed as Sales Manager: Commercially proven background in sales and business development, ideally B2B, with a history of delivering results Prior team management or leadership experience whether that be in a sales or alternate team environment. Energetic and driven, with a proactive approach to challenges and the resilience to thrive in a busy, fast moving environment. Skilled multitasker with the ability to juggle competing priorities and meet deadlines without compromising on quality. Exceptional communicator and natural networker able to build rapport quickly and influence a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally. Strategic thinker with an ambitious mindset, always looking for ways to innovate, improve and succeed. Full UK driving licence essential, as the role includes visiting client sites and attending face to face meetings. What’s in it for you?
