Junior Clinical Negligence Solicitor National Practice - Leeds A leading national healthcare litigation team is looking to bring in an Associate to join its growing practice in Leeds. It’s a well-established team with a strong reputation in defendant clinical negligence work, acting for NHS bodies and other healthcare organisations on a broad range of matters. The role You’ll be working across a mix of: Clinical negligence claims EL/PL matters within a healthcare setting Day to day, that will include managing your own files (with support where needed) as well as assisting on more complex claims. Expect a good spread of work – from investigations and witness evidence through to settlement discussions, mediations and the occasional trial. There’s also the chance to get involved in secondments with NHS clients, which gives a bit more variety and closer client exposure. What they’re looking for NQ – 3 PQE solicitor Experience in defendant EL/PL or clinical negligence (claimant backgrounds will be considered) Someone organised, pragmatic and comfortable dealing directly with clients Able to run files while contributing to the wider team on larger matters It’s a supportive setup, so you won’t be left to figure things out on your own.
