Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our busy culinary team. Duties
Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
Assist in meal preparation, ensuring timely delivery during service hours
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, ovens, and fryers
Monitor food stock levels and communicate needs for replenishment
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Ensure all dishes are presented attractively and served at the correct temperature
Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to uphold hygiene standards
Qualifications
Experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment
Knowledge of food safety procedures and hygiene standards
Proven ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen setting
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Previous experience with meal preparation and serving is desirable but not essential
