Are you reliable, hardworking, and ready to join a friendly and supportive kitchen team? We are recruiting a Food Service Assistant to support our catering operations at Churcher's College, Ramshill, Petersfield, Hants. GU31 4AS. As a Food Service Assistant, you'll help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment and work closely with our chefs and front-of-house team to ensure everything runs smoothly.
What You’ll Do
* Maintain and deliver a quality service according to set work schedules and procedures
* Monitor quality control systems, e.g., job sign off sheets and schedules
* Prepare food service areas and presentation to the notified standard
* Work front-facing serving pupils and staff or in the dishwasher area during lunch service
* Attend the daily service briefing if serving on the counter
* Implement cleaning schedules to agreed standards
* Wear the correct uniform and promote a positive company image
* Promote a positive company image to customers and guests through good service practices
* Keep all front and back of house food storage and equipment clean, hygienic and maintained
* Work safely and follow the three checks for safety and complete Near Miss cards
