We have a great opportunity to join the tax team at TFG London as a Tax Accountant, supporting the finance and tax obligations across our brands, Phase Eight, Whistles, Hobbs Inside Story and White Stuff. Our brands are growing both in the UK and in several other international markets and the purpose of this role is to work with the Head of Tax to ensure the group meets all tax compliance and reporting requirements. You will be responsible for both direct and indirect tax matters and play a crucial role in enhancing existing processes. What you will be doing Overseeing the preparation and submission of the UK corporation tax returns, and calculation of payments on account Assisting with the year and interim group reporting processes, including calculation of tax provisions Supporting the Head of Group Tax with the provision of tax advice for the business Supporting the wider finance team with any queries relating to VAT and other indirect tax matters Supporting on HMRC tax audits and ad-hoc queries from overseas fiscal authorities Working closely with the Head of Group Tax to keep up to date with developments in tax legislation and their implications for the business Building relationships with key internal stakeholders including the finance, treasury, and legal teams, as well as external stakeholders including HMRC, auditors and tax advisors What you will need Qualified accountant/chartered tax advisor Experience in direct tax compliance Some exposure to indirect tax/VAT In house experience ideally in a Retail or Consumer Business Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines Comfortable picking up work and completing tasks with minimum supervision What's in it for you In return we offer a competitive salary and benefits including: Staff Discount Discounts across your favourite brands Virtual GP Service Virtual Wellbeing and Counselling Service Financial Wellbeing Support Early Pay through Access Early Pay Discounted Gym Memberships About You Not Specified About Us At TFG Brands London We Care, We Connect, We Collaborate and We Create.
