You will provide on-site engineering & management for projects across the sites operations, including technical support for the projects. Management of the working area and contractors, ensuring that specifications / design are being strictly followed and that work is proceeding safely and efficiently. Role & Responsibilities: • To demonstrate safety leadership on day-to-day activities by providing a high-profile presence on site and by conducting formal and informal auditing on a frequent basis, thereby ensuring that onsite contractors are fully executing and complying with the scope of work, site engineering & EHS standards and current legislation. • Using your knowledge and experience to review constructability of projects at design phase so that installation factors are included within the detailed design, thereby saving time, material and money. • Aiding the plant Engineers in reviewing and approving designs for projects, including adherence to Management of Change procedures. • Working with manufacturers to ensure that new vessels, complex piping systems and valves are constructed in accordance with drawing, specifications and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs). •...
