We are supporting a vibrant and inclusive specialist SEMH school in Northampton providing high-quality education to children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties, often with complex needs and challenging behaviours. The school are seeking a passionate and resilient SEN Teacher to join their experienced and supportive team. The successful candidate will hold QTS and has experience working in an SEN or SEMH setting before. In addition to this, they have a deep understanding of the needs of pupils with SEMH, ADHD, and associated conditions. As a SEN Teacher, you will: Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCPs Foster positive relationships and create a safe, nurturing classroom environment Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team including TAs, therapists, and pastoral staff Track and assess pupil progress in both academic and personal development Play a proactive role in developing curriculum pathways and interventions. All candidates who register with Simply Education are required to provide references for the previous 2 years of work, as well as complete an enhanced DBS check.
