Administrator / Office Receptionist - Overview

Location: Martin Maslin Estate Agents, Abbey Walk, Grimsby

Hours: Monday–Friday 9am–5pm, plus 1 in 3 Saturdays (9am–1pm)

About the Role

Based in our busy Grimsby High Street office, you will be the welcoming face and voice of our business. As our front‑of‑house Administrator/Receptionist, you'll be the first point of contact for clients visiting the office, calling in, or reaching out via email.

This is a varied, people‑focused role where no two days are the same. You'll support our sales and lettings teams by managing enquiries, arranging appointments, and keeping the office running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

* Greeting clients in person and ensuring they feel welcomed and supported
* Handling incoming calls and emails professionally and efficiently
* Booking viewings, valuations, rental inspections, and other appointments
* Managing diaries for the team and coordinating daily schedules
* Providing general administrative support, including data entry and filing
* Maintaining a tidy, organised reception area
* Assisting with ad‑hoc office tasks as required

About You

We're looking for someone who brings energy, positivity, and confidence to the role. You'll thrive in a customer‑facing environment and enjoy helping people, whether face‑to‑face or over the phone.

You will also have:

* Strong communication skills
* A friendly, professional manner
* Basic computer skills (email, calendars, data entry)
* The ability to stay organised in a busy office
* A proactive, can‑do attitude

Experience within an estate agency is not essential — we're far more interested in your personality, approach, and willingness to learn.
