A leading Lloyd's Insurance Brokerage is currently recruiting for a Compliance Assistant to join their London team.
The role will provide support to the Compliance Team, dealing directly with and advising employees, Appointed Representatives, and Associate Companies regarding the Group’s compliance activities, policies, and procedures to ensure all requirements are met.
Key tasks:
1. Assist with the daily operations of the Compliance Department.
2. Prepare monthly systems and control reports.
3. Compile monthly reports by collecting information from Finance and Sponsored Companies, and follow up on missing financial or TCF information to ensure timely report production.
4. Maintain a master complaints log by obtaining and logging complaints monthly.
5. Assist with completing due diligence requests from Insurers and Intermediaries.
6. Integrate compliance training modules into the company's online platform and follow up with managers and staff to ensure completion within deadlines.
7. Attend Compliance Team and Product Governance Committee meetings, and prepare minutes for review.
8. Assist with Data Subject Access Requests as needed.
9. Maintain broker management systems (UK and overseas).
10. Manage REG UK system, monitor alerts, and escalate issues to relevant stakeholders.
11. Perform various administrative duties.
Knowledge and experience desired:
* Knowledge of FCA compliance related to insurance requirements for both commercial and retail businesses.
* Background in insurance broking, preferably with London Market experience.
