Barclay Simpson is looking for a Researcher to join our Risk & Quant team, with a focus on the US Risk & Front Office Quant market.
This is an opportunity to work on a high-performing desk, supporting senior search activity across a specialist market that sits at the centre of front office hiring within financial services.
You’ll work closely with an experienced consultant, helping to identify, map and engage talent across the US market. The role offers exposure to leading firms across banking, hedge funds, asset management and broader financial services, as well as some of the most technically strong and commercially important professionals in the space. This is a fast-paced, high-visibility role with plenty of scope to build deep market knowledge and make an immediate impact.
We’re open to people with previous sales experience, ideally in recruitment or another target-driven environment. We would also consider a bright graduate with strong communication skills, commercial awareness and the drive to build a career in specialist financial services recruitment.
What you’ll be doing:
* Mapping the US Risk & Front Office Quant market across key firms and teams
* Researching businesses, organisational structures and hiring trends
* Supporting candidate sourcing and headhunting activity
* Speaking with candidates and clients to build market intelligence
* Assisting with search delivery, proposal writing and interview coordination
* Managing candidate data and process administration through Bullhorn
