Teacher of Maths\n\nLocation: Leeds\nSalary: MPS/UPS \nContract: Full-time and permanent\nStart date: September 2025\n\nAspire People is working in partnership with a high-performing 11-16 secondary school in Leeds to appoint a dedicated and confident Teacher of Maths for a full-time, permanent position starting in September 2025.\n\nThis is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and ambitious 'outstanding' rated school community that values creativity, inclusion, and academic achievement. There is a focus on staff wellbeing with dedicated support in place for ECTs.\n\nTeacher of Maths - responsibilities:\n\n* Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students\n* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment\n* Assess, track and report on student progress\n* Participate in department planning, meetings and wider school activities\n* Uphold the school's high expectations for behaviour and learning\n\nTeacher of Maths - requirements:\n\n* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or on track to achieve by September\n* A 2:1 or above in an undergraduate Maths related degree\n* Experience teaching Maths at secondary level (KS3/KS4)\n* Strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills\n* A commitment to raising standards and inspiring students\n\nTeacher of Maths - benefits:\n\n* Permanent role with competitive salary (MPS/UPS).
