Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Edinburgh City Council's Adult's Service. This is a full time role offering a fantastic competitive pay rate.

Responsibilities:
* Conducting comprehensive assessments under the Social Care (Self-directed Support) (Scotland) Act 2013 to identify eligibility for services.
* Investigating concerns and carrying out duties under the Adult Support and Protection (Scotland) Act 2007.
* Designing and implementing care packages, which may include home care, equipment/adaptations, or residential placement.
* Undertaking risk assessments for individuals with complex needs, challenging behaviors, or significant frailty.
* Managing the four options of SDS, allowing individuals to choose how their care budget is spent (e.g., hiring a Personal Assistant vs. using Council services).
* Collaborating with GPs, District Nurses, and Occupational Therapists to provide integrated health and social care.
Requirements:
* PVG
* SSSC registration
* Social Work Degree
