Salary: £95 - £120 per day (Depending on experience)

We are currently recruiting passionate, patient, and proactive SEMH Teaching Assistants to join a nurturing and inclusive setting in Dinnington, where students benefit from therapeutic approaches and specialist support.
About the Role:
This position is ideal for individuals who are experienced in working with young people displaying emotional or behavioural difficulties. You will work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to deliver targeted support both in and out of the classroom, helping learners to achieve personal and academic milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide consistent 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEMH or behavioural needs.
* Assist with implementing tailored learning and behaviour management plans.
* Create a safe, stable, and engaging learning environment for vulnerable students.
* Model positive behaviour and reinforce emotional regulation strategies.
* Help students re-engage with education through patience, encouragement, and structured guidance.
* Liaise with external agencies and professionals when required.
* Uphold safeguarding practices and support wellbeing initiatives across the school.
Job Requirements:
* Experience working with children or young people with SEMH, challenging behaviour, or trauma-related needs.
* Strong understanding of safeguarding, behaviour de-escalation, and pastoral care.
* Resilient and empathetic with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Calm under pressure and confident in managing emotionally complex situations.
* Have anupdated CV(covering thelast ten years barring any unexplained gaps) andan enhanced DBSregistered to theUpdate Service(or be willing to apply for one).
