They have a hugely unique opportunity for an experienced property professional to join their rapidly growing business, providing advice on residential development projects. Our client offers development finance loans to property developers in the UK and pride themselves on a property finance by property people approach. Our client has swiftly become one of the UK’s leading property specialist peer-to-peer lenders, facilitating millions of pounds worth of short-term loans to SME property professionals throughout the UK.
Traditional lending is in crisis: SME property professionals are struggling to access the finance they need, and investors are receiving inferior rates of interest due to high overhead banking costs. Our clients’ founders have built their business to tackle these fundamental issues. They provide quick and easy finance to property professionals whilst giving investors inflation-beating interest, all whilst meeting the rising demand for quality residential housing in the process. The Role
Duties of the Development Manager can include but are not limited to:
Investigate and analyse property development opportunities with a view to debt funding projects
Property Development, Planning, Valuation, Market Analysis
Reviewing, advising, and amending applications from potential developers
Advising customers on all aspects of the development process
Due diligence on developments/ investments
Conducting appraisals, structuring deals, and providing technical development advice
A key aspect of the role with involve building relationships with property professionals/ developers and developing relationships with customers and contributing to business development
Required Skills
A strong property related background within any discipline
Exceptional people skills
Proficient with IT, including a good knowledge of Excel
Direct client facing experience
