To provide truly outstanding client experiences we work as one team, AGS (Ampa Group Services) is made up of business professionals who work with our legal professionals to provide market-leading expertise to our clients. The group includes Finance, Operations, HR, Marketing, IT, Risk and the Executive Leadership team.
What you will be doing:
The key feature of this role is to provide exceptional client experiences and support for all our clients, both external and internal. Therefore, successful candidates must be highly organised, enthusiastic, helpful individuals, with a range of client facing and business support skills.
Key Duties
Front of House & Client Services
* Welcome visitors and colleagues, creating an exceptional first impression
* Follow visitor management processes and liaise with building reception as needed
* Manage meeting room and car park bookings; respond within SLA
* Liaise with clients about bookings and requirements in person or by phone
* Answer phone calls within 3 rings using hands-free headset
* Assist with internal and external events
Meeting Rooms & Collaboration Spaces
* Ensure meeting rooms, reception, and collaborative areas are clean and presentable
* Set up and clear down meeting rooms, including layout changes and equipment
* Organise IT support or set up equipment (e.g., MS Teams) as required
* Stock meeting rooms and resource areas with stationery and supplies
* Organise and serve catering and refreshments
Facilities & Office Support
* Maintain clean, tidy, and stocked refreshment areas
* Deep clean and maintain coffee machines; perform daily stock checks
* Move and organise office equipment and furniture as required
* Report maintenance, cleaning, and H&S issues promptly
* Support environmental policy implementation and recycling area upkeep
* Monitor and update notice boards and displayed information
* Supervise external contractors and liaise with building management
Document & Mailroom Services
* Copy, print, scan, edit, and finish documents accurately
* Transfer data via removable media, cloud, or document systems
* Handle outgoing and incoming mail, including inter-office and court deliveries
* Arrange couriers, record details for auditing and charging
* Coordinate high-volume print/scan jobs with other offices
* Retrieve and send files from offsite storage; conduct regular file audits
People Support & Ad Hoc Tasks
* Prepare lockers, keys, and access for starters and leavers
* Assist with new starter inductions and office tours
* Carry out fire warden and first aid duties as required
* Perform any other duties as needed, including travel to other locations for cover
What you will need:
* Commutable distance to our Sheffield office
* Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in professional services
* Flexible with working hours to meet business needs
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant systems
* Strong under pressure, with excellent organisational skills
* Clear, professional communicator; builds strong relationships
* Detail-oriented, proactive, and continuously looking to improve
