Senior Electrical Design Engineer
Location: Cwmbran, South Wales. Relocation support available. Hybrid – 3 days on site.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce electrical installation models and detail drawings for new product and platform designs for first and business class products and systems.
* Design 3D harnesses, electrical schematics and block diagrams.
* Integrate electrical systems within aircraft seats.
* Generate 2D/3D electrical installation and systems designs using CATIA V5 and PLM software.
* Participate in Design Reviews throughout each phase of the New Product Introduction process.
* Participate in product validation using prototyping, test and other methods.
* Follow and contribute to the development of Best Practice guidelines.
Qualifications
* Minimum degree in electrical engineering or a comparable engineering discipline.
* Alternative: HNC/HND or equivalent qualification with post‑qualification experience in a technical role.
* Experience using 3D CAD & AutoCAD electrical software packages or equivalent.
* Ability to operate at a senior level and act as a mentor or provide support to more junior team members.
