About the role
The Safeguarding and Quality Assurance Team has an exciting opportunity for a position as a Conference and Review Officer to chair child protection acting up (CP) conferences and lead in strengthening and maintaining high quality multi-agency safeguarding practice and plans. The postholder will also hold additional responsibility in undertaking audits and quality assurance activity.

About you
You will be a qualified Social Worker, with at least five years' post qualifying experience (including management) in a statutory social work setting with children and families, the post holder will have excellent communication skills, a well-developed knowledge base of the components for outstanding social work practice, a proven ability in providing specialist advice, chairing complex multi-agency safeguarding meetings and in developing, implementing and reviewing child protection plans which ensure best possible outcomes for children.
