The Learning & Development Advisor, reporting to the Learning & Development Manager will play a key role in delivering our core L&D offering and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new employees. With a primary focus on LMS onboarding, head office inductions, and designing and delivering engaging learning content, you’ll help create a consistent, welcoming, and growth-oriented learning environment across Hillier.
As an integral part of Learning & Development, you’ll contribute to shaping our organisational capability and culture through modern training and development initiatives.
We welcome applications for full-time hours (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday). We are also happy to consider part-time arrangements, as we recognise the importance of flexibility.
The salary for this role is £27,500 per annum, pro-rated for part-time working patterns.
This position is based at our Ampfield, Hampshire office, and requires candidates to have the ability to commute to the location daily, with occasional travel to other business locations.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver and continually improve our organisational induction programme—from offer acceptance to firstday readiness.
* Lead the onboarding of new staff to our Learning Management System (LMS).
* Deliver company induction and onboarding sessions.
* Support in the design and creation of engaging learning content (faceto-face, virtual, and digital—e.g., Articulate, Vyond).
* Support the implementation of a revised core learning and development offer across Hillier.
* Drive culture and transformational change through the delivery of learning aligned to our Customer Experience and service development programmes.
* Manage and respond to staff queries and new starter communications via the Learning Hub inbox.
* Produce and report on relevant learning and onboarding metrics, using data to inform improvements.
* Assist in the communication of frameworks, policies, tools and processes that support the business.
* Support the selection and evaluation of thirdparty training suppliers, ensuring value for money and quality delivery.
* Promote a continuous improvement mindset, keeping up to date with modern learning practices and embedding them into the learning delivery model.
* Collaborate across teams and departments to ensure learning initiatives are well integrated and supported.
* Provide support where needed in development and coaching activity.
