Role: FM Manager
Location: Head Office / South East
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

The Role
We have an exciting new role at Marshall Motor Group and are looking for a FM Manager to join our Property department. The Facilities Manager oversees the maintenance, operation, and safety of all physical locations across our dealership network. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can ensure all facilities provide an exceptional environment for customers and staff while maintaining brand standards and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities include:
1. Oversee daily operations and maintenance of all dealership properties, including showrooms, service centres, and administrative facilities
2. Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure all facilities remain in optimal condition
3. Manage vendor relationships and service contracts for maintenance, landscaping, cleaning, waste management, and security
4. Monitor and control facilities-related expenditures to adhere to budgetary guidelines
5. Coordinate minor facility renovations and upgrade projects when needed
6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building regulations and environmental standards
7. Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance contractors
8. Respond promptly to emergency situations and facility issues
9. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs
10. Implement energy efficiency initiatives and sustainable facility practices
Working Conditions
11. Regular business hours with occasional evening and weekend work as required
12. Travel between dealership locations (approximately 30-40% of time)
13. On-call availability for facility emergencies
Who you are
14. Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
15. 5+ years of experience in facilities management, preferably in automotive or multi-site retail environments
16. Knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security
17. Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
18. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
19. Proficiency with facility management software and MS Office applications
20. Valid driver's license with clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications/Experience
21. Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or related professional certification
22. Experience managing multiple locations or a large campus environment
23. Knowledge of automotive dealership operations and manufacturer facility requirements
24. Experience with energy management systems and sustainability initiatives
25. Familiarity with construction project management and renovation oversight
