Prospero Teaching have exciting opportunities for Art Therapy Tutors to work with young people in the Bridport area. About the Role: You will deliver engaging, creative sessions to young people who may have additional needs such as: SEN (Special Educational Needs) SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) Trauma At risk of PEX (Permanent Exclusion)Your work will make a real difference, helping learners build confidence and develop skills through art-based approaches. About you: At least 1 year of experience in UK schools in roles such as Tutor, Teacher, Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, ELSA, 1:1 support, Art Teacher, Art Therapist, Counsellor and so on. A background in art, art therapy, or related fields Experience working with learners with additional needs As a Tutor, You Will: Plan and deliver tailored art-based sessions to meet individual learning needs Support emotional well-being and encourage positive engagement Work 1:1 or in small groups with learners who may have complex needs Maintain a safe, inclusive, and creative learning environmentPosition -Art Tutor Contract or position start date - ASAP Contract or position end date (if applicable) - N/A Full time/part-time - Part Time Hours - Various Essential & Desirable Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of experience working with young peopleTo be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must: Hold right to work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide references upon request Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
