The Role
Our London-based Finance team is expanding and we are looking for a talented Financial Planning & Analysis Manager with a professional services or advisory background to join our growing team. This role primarily supports our Global Financial Advisory business, reporting directly into its CFO. The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will collaborate with senior finance individuals and other internal finance teams to ensure efficiency and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Produce comprehensive monthly management reporting that creates a clear view of periodic performance in support of financial goals
2. Key role in influencing strategic and financial direction of business through planning cycle, decision support and performance management
3. Partner with key stakeholders to execute strategic initiatives such as identify process improvements, and evaluate the impact to the organization
4. Prepare and oversee the preparation of Monthly & Quarterly reporting for Board and Management meetings
5. Ability to summarise financial results and story surrounding company performance
6. Deliver accurate, timely, and actionable financial reporting and key business metrics to department leadership, client teams, and other groups as necessary
7. Participate in monthly forecasting and annual budgeting process
8. Collaborate with regional business leaders to build and/or enhance reporting needs as necessary
9. Work closely with the CFO and FC teams to manage business level budgets and forecasts
10. Prepare adhoc reporting for various parties including management and executive teams
Key Skills & Experience
11. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance
12. Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent), both time and exam qualified.
13. Minimum of 5+years of experience and 2 years PQE
14. Previous experience at a professional services or advisory firm
15. Ability to build & analyze financial models & forecasts
16. Highly Proficient in Excel
17. Advanced Proficiency in PowerPoint & building Presentation Decks
18. Working knowledge of reporting tools (ex: Power BI, NSPB, etc.) a plus
19. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
20. Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and business acumen
21. Ability to work under pressure and within short time constraints in a fluid business environment
22. Strong organizational and prioritization skills; proactive with a high sense of urgency
