Your new role
As a Rent Officer, you'll be responsible for managing rent accounts, supporting tenants with arrears, and ensuring income is maximised across the housing stock. You'll handle queries, set up repayment plans, monitor accounts, and work closely with housing teams to maintain strong rent collection performance. This role requires one day a week in the office, with the remainder carried out remotely. This is a temp contract until the end of April.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience in rents or income management within housing
Strong understanding of arrears processes and tenancy legislation
Confident communication skills when supporting tenants
Ability to analyse rent accounts and take appropriate actionWhat you'll get in return
Competitive hourly rate of £16.80
Flexible working with only one day per week required on site
