The Role:
Working closely with the SLT to grow our Apprenticeship in learning, in order to meet the milestones set in the Vision 2033, business and strategic plans(planned, quality growth to 2000 in-learning over the next 8 years). Efficiently, autonomously and robustly manage the operations of Smart Training and Recruitment Limited in order to deliver Vision 2033.
Key Relationships:
To build professional relationships with all stakeholders of Smart Training & Recruitment in particular the Senior Leadership Team, and the Business Development Team in order to deliver Vision 2033.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure that there is capacity within the sector teams at all times for identified cohorts of learners.
* Manage the day-today training and operations of the business to the agreed quality standards to deliver success rates as agreed within the Strategic Plan and annual Business Plans.
* With the SLT, plan growth strategies in the Hospitality & Health and Social Care sectors and support our Business Development Team with targeted growth. This will include both Teams and onsite visits.
* Work within the business’s Procedures and Processes, ensuring the needs of external stakeholders are met.
* Carry out meaningful performance reviews with the Tutor Team to ensure improvements are recorded and objectives are in place to ensure no KPI is more than 10% non-compliant. Be able to manage the disciplinary process if performance fails to improve.
* Represent Smart Training and Recruitment at appropriate sector internal and external meetings and events.
* Be the first contact for any employer or learner concerns, ensuring any negative feedback is acknowledged within 24 hours and prioritising resolving any problems.
* Ensure all Team members continually evaluate and assess all practices and performance, including self-evaluation as part of the Quality Improvement and People Management systems
* Any other tasks or projects required by the business to ensure Vision 2033 is achieved
* To lead by example, inspiring, motivating our team to achieve Vision 2033
* To make well informed, considered, clear and timely decisions under pressure,
* Effectively convey information, build rapport, and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
* Manage operations, delegate tasks to ensure the company is operated efficiently & effectively

* Excellent management of people systems and performance
* Excellent organisation, administration, numeracy and I.T. skills.

* Maintain the company behavioural and ethical standards ensuring an environment in which the dignity of individuals is respected
* Management Experience to at least Level 5
* Managed within the Apprenticeship sector at Operational Management level
* Education / teaching qualifications
* A detailed understanding of the Health and Social Care industry, barriers and opportunities (essential)
* A detailed understanding of the Hospitality industry, barriers and opportunities
