KeyResponsibilities:
InjuryPreventionStrategies:
* Conduct anannual injury audit analysing various injurymetrics.
* Implement cuttingedge injuryprevention strategies based on auditresults.
* Administer annual screening andphysical testing for first teamplayers.
* Develop and manage ongoing injurymanagement plans for players with a history ofinjuries.
* Collaborate closely with coaching andsports science staff on player loadmanagement.
InjuryManagement:
* Provideaccurate diagnosis and prognosis for injuredplayers.
* Develop and oversee comprehensiverehabilitation plans with clear progressmarkers.
* Keep stakeholders informed with dailyand weekly updates on injured playersstatus.
* Arrange specialist appointments andinvestigations when required.
* Deliverhighquality treatment and rehabilitationsessions.
DailyManagement of FitPlayers:
* Provide dailymaintenance treatment and strappings for fitplayers.
* Design and implement recoverystrategies for fit players.
* Supervise softtissue provision for all first teamplayers.
* Maintain discipline in the clubsMedical Room and monitor wellbeingsurveys.
MatchdayDuties:
* Offer pitchsidefirst aid cover for all first teamgames.
* Prepare and manage medical equipment forboth home and away games.
* Facilitate EmergencyAction Plan (EAP) meetings and ensure EAPavailability.
* Conduct debrief and reflectionsessions postmatch.
* Uphold Health &Safetyregulations.
MiscellaneousTasks:
* Monitor playeravailability and participate in daily staffmeetings.
* Ensure an adequate supply of medicalconsumables.
* Foster relationships with clubpartners.
* Assist in the development of firstteam sports therapist and sportsscientist.
* Maintain a clean and operationalmedicalroom.
