Responsibilities:
Service, maintain and repair pump and diesel equipment on customer sites and in the workshop
Carry out fault-finding, diagnostics and preventative maintenance
Inspect equipment returning from hire and document damage or recurring faults
Work to manufacturer specifications and H&S requirements (including PPE)
Complete job reports and communicate effectively with internal teams
Participate in a call-out rota (with standby allowance and overtime)
Experience & skills required:
NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent hands-on experience)
Background working with diesel engines, pumps, plant or mechanical equipment
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Experience working on customer or construction sites
Full UK driving licence (max 6 points)
Flexible, reliable, and comfortable working outdoors in all weather
