Early Years Nursery Manager
Are you a passionate and motivated Early Years professional looking for your next leadership opportunity?
We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Manager who is hardworking, enthusiastic, and committed to delivering outstanding practice.
About the Role:
As Nursery Manager, you will lead our team in providing high-quality care and early education in a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the nursery, inspiring your team and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safeguarding standards.
Our setting is open 48 weeks per year, and we are looking for a Manager who can work Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 6:00pm.
Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be flexible to support the nursery's operational needs – this may include changes to your rota day off or working additional hours to maintain appropriate staffing ratios within the setting.
To support your success, we offer a 12-month Management Programme to introduce you to the 'Wolds Way' – our unique approach to early years education, leadership, and quality improvement.
What We're Looking For:
A qualified and experienced Early Years practitioner (minimum Level 3)
Proven leadership and management experience in an early years setting
A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and current statutory requirements
A proactive, reflective, and positive leader who is committed to excellence
Please note: Due to recent changes in the EYFS framework, all new Nursery Managers are required to hold a GCSE in Maths (Grade C/4 or above) or Level 2 Functional/Key Skills in Maths.
We Offer:
A structured 12-month Management Programme and ongoing professional development
A supportive and forward-thinking working environment
Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications
The opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and their families
If you're ready to lead with passion and become part of a values-driven team, we'd love to hear from you.
