Position
An opportunity has arisen for a Discharge Lounge Staff Nurse based at University Hospital Crosshouse.
What you will do:
As a member of the team, you will work closely with the wards and other departments to ensure effective flow throughout the hospital site. You will collaborate with the Discharge Hub staff and other partners to ensure a safe and efficient discharge pathway to the community. Working with minimal supervision and in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating care programs for a defined patient caseload, following NMC standards.

Knowledge, training, and experience required:
* You will be a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
* Substantial post-registration experience relevant to the specialty.
* Knowledge of General Hospitals Division policies and procedures.
* Ability to keep skills and knowledge updated and documented.
Additional information:
The Discharge Lounge operates Monday to Friday from 0800 to 2000 hours, with flexible hours to meet service demands, including public holidays.
