Maintenance Engineer
Location: Andover
Shift: Manufacturing, Mon - Fri Days
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
Gi Pro is proud to partner with a well-known manufacturing company in the UK. We are seeking an electrical bias, multi-skilled maintenance engineer to join their team.
Job Role
As a core member of the engineering team, reporting directly to the Engineering Operations Manager, you will lead shifts, prioritize service contractors and workload. You should have proven experience in a similar environment, with hands-on technical skills in maintenance activities on site.
Typical Duties
* Ensure production priorities are understood to facilitate timely maintenance and order fulfillment.
* Collaborate with the Operations Manager to support engineering planning.
* Provide expert front-line engineering knowledge.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Liaise with service contractors and oversee maintenance agreements.
* Make informed engineering decisions.
Desirable Experience
* Electrical bias
* Manufacturing maintenance
* Understanding of statutory requirements and legislation
* Experience repairing and maintaining machinery such as 3-phase systems, control panels, motors, gearboxes, sensors, conveyors, and electrical heating elements
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills, pneumatics, and panel building
* Managing safe working practices
