This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced lawyer to work as a Managing Lawyer within a dynamic and innovative environment, representing one of the UK's most iconic brands.
The successful candidate will manage commercial contracts, including technology and outsourcing agreements, third-party supplier arrangements, and other operational contracts. The role involves supervising a team of lawyers and paralegals, working directly with business partners, and developing the legal service offering.

Responsibilities
You will lead a team to deliver comprehensive commercial contract services, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and advising on contracts and related queries. Emphasis will be placed on technological solutions to support contract management and ownership.
You will collaborate with the in-house legal team and other stakeholders, ensuring high-quality client service and strong relationship management.

Summary of Key Responsibilities
* Build and maintain a close working relationship with the client;
* Assign legal work to team members;
* Manage team capacity, quality, and availability;
* Set and review personal and team objectives;
* Contribute to financial and operational reporting;
* Coordinate work allocation with the client and internal teams;
* Participate in client and internal meetings;
* Assist with quoting for legal services;
* Provide onboarding and training for new team members;
* Support the development of precedents and playbooks;
* Contribute to improvement initiatives across legal, technology, and operations;
* Advise on and work on commercial contracts and legal queries.
Required Skills and Attributes
o Experience working on media contracts;
o Management experience, including workload supervision;
o Technology awareness and adaptability;
o Experience with sophisticated clients is preferred;
o Exceptional drafting and legal research skills.
