You'll help design, test and support our main software product, Genesys. Someone who is a bit of an all rounder who can turn their hand to anything technical. We're flexible and fully setup for collaborative remote, hybrid or office working environment, our office is in the Crawley area in West Sussex. What you'll do
As a
Technical Specialist
, you will:
* Support the development team with integrations, setting up systems, feedback on correct operation and issues.
* Assist in creating scopes for features and changes for customers
* Visit customer sites at times, be able to talk through requirements, issues, changes with the customers, these can be integration or end users. Feedback any requirements.
* Support customers on site, some on-site training, configuration, whatever they need.
* Design and configure the Genesys system
* In office testing of new integrations and features at times
* Collaborate on challenging, high-impact projects across multiple industries including the roadmap of the development of future products

Core Requirements
* Experience in the software technical support field, supporting over the phone and using remote connections.
* Good knowledge of the Microsoft suite of applications and, of course, Windows OS.
* Basic network understanding is important to us, you don't need to be CCNA qualified, just know the basics.
* Good analytical mind with problem solving skills.
* Experience with visiting customer sites and dealing directly with customers.
* A can-do attitude, forward thinking and a need to learn and improve.
Nice-to-Haves
* Security product experience, CCTV, ACS, IAS, is an advantage. We are not looking for a specialist in any field, but an understanding of what they are and how they work will help. Full training will be given on the products.
* Having experience with a PSIM type of system or a system which integrates to other manufacturers.
* Have been involved in the design, installation or configuration of Security control rooms
