Overview
Our client is a well-respected distributor of construction supplies and building products, supplying building materials into the construction sector. This busy and high performing branch requires an experienced Branch Manager who is strong operationally and commercially.

Qualifications and Experience
- Experience within the Builders Merchants, timber merchants, or specialist distributors of building materials / construction supplies
- Proven Branch Manager or Assistant Manager experience, or equivalent management role within the construction supplies sector
- Strong sales background or prior management experience within the sector
- Branch Management skills
- Strong commercial acumen
- Natural leadership and people management skills
- Working knowledge of Construction Supplies / Building Materials / Builders Merchants
- P&L, stock and service accountability
- Strategic planning and management capability
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage branch operations, ensuring high performance and customer service standards
- Drive sales and manage commercial objectivesMaintain P&L, inventory, and stock management
- Strategically plan and implement branch initiatives
- Lead and develop the branch team, fostering a culture of excellence
