Location: Worcester, WR5 Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support one of our specialist primary SEND partners in the Worcester (WR5) area. About the Role You will play a key role in supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASD), SEMH, Processing or Learning Difficulties (LD) and communication differences. Working closely with teachers, therapists and the SENCO, you’ll help pupils access learning through structured routines, sensory‑friendly approaches and engaging, hands‑on activities. Every day brings something new — from supporting communication and emotional regulation to celebrating small steps of progress that make a big difference. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging one‑to‑one and small‑group support Adapt resources and activities to meet individual learning and sensory needs Follow EHCPs and personalised support plans to promote steady, meaningful progress Support communication, social interaction, emotional regulation and behaviour Use visual supports, sensory tools and alternative communication systems Monitor and record pupil progress, sharing insights with the wider team Contribute to a calm, nurturing and stimulating classroom environment Support pupils during transitions, break times and enrichment activities Encourage independence, resilience and confidence in every learner About You Passionate about supporting children with SEND and helping them thrive Calm, patient and positive, even in a busy, dynamic environment A strong communicator who builds trusting relationships with pupils and staff Proactive, flexible and confident working as part of a supportive team Emotionally resilient, reflective and eager to develop your SEN practice Requirements Willing to complete a DBS check or provide an updated certificate Able to provide two references Proof of right to work in the UK If you’re ready to bring energy, compassion and commitment to a rewarding SEN role, please apply via the link or email.
