Essential Role Requirements: · Able to dig strip foundations · An excellent eye for finished works. For example, top soil, levelling muck, type 1, crush and road formation · Capable of lifting and working with trench boxes, manhole boxes, drag boxes, and trench sheets · Able to read and understand levels and drawings · Acknowledge the need for dig permits before breaking ground · Experienced working around live services, and in service avoidance techniques · Able to competently carry out daily pre-start plant safety inspections and maintenance checks, and communicate service requirements in good time to the site management team · Able to carry out essential greasing, basic maintenance and always keep machines clean and tidy · Must be driven to show respect for plant and maintain to a high standard · Proactive and able to manage time effectively Desirable: · Any experience with or knowledge of GPS machine control would be advantageous · Additional CPCS/NPORS* tickets and experienced in operating any of the following; Telehandlers, Dumpers, Rollers · 5 Years experience General Expectations: · Reliable & punctual · Able to work well with other trades and operatives on site and support the programme delivery on time · Right to work in the UK
