This role involves working in patients' homes as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing holistic care and support to enable service users to maintain their independence. Flexible use of initiative and high standards of patient care are essential.
Responsibilities
* Provide support and assistance to service users to maximise and maintain independence in home settings.
* Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care.
* Maintain high standards of patient care and support the team to ensure delivery of a high quality service to the local community.
* Demonstrate flexibility and use own initiative in support provision.
Qualifications
* Driving licence essential; applicants should have access to their own vehicle for work purposes (pool vehicle available for rural areas).
* No experience required, though beneficial; full training will be provided and successful applicants will have the opportunity to complete an SVQ in Health & Social Care.
* Availability for bank shifts: 7.00am‑11.00am, 9.00am‑1.00pm, 7.00am‑2.00pm, 5.00pm‑10.00pm or as per service requirements.
* This role does not meet eligibility criteria for a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) and NHS Highland is unable to provide candidates with a CoS.
