Nursery Assistant

Role & Responsibilities
As a Nursery Assistant, you will be instrumental in creating a fun and engaging learning experience for children. You'll be involved in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment, and working collaboratively with a passionate team. You'll build strong relationships with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress.
Main tasks include
* Lead engaging play-based learning and creative activities.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of children through constant supervision.
* Maintain a clean and hygienic learning environment.
* Assist with personal care tasks.
* Communicate effectively with parents.
* Collaborate with colleagues to meet individual child needs.
Requirements
* A genuine passion for childcare.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Experience working with young children (preferred, but not essential).
* Relevant childcare qualifications (advantageous but not mandatory).
* Commitment to maintaining a safe and stimulating environment.
* Proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
* Ability to adapt to the needs of children of varying ages and abilities.
* Understanding of safeguarding procedures and policies.
* Basic first aid knowledge (preferred).
