Care & Support Team Leader
You’ll be working 39.8 hours per week, making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Cygnet Fairways.
Located in a beautiful Suffolk village, Fairways supports adults with learning disabilities and associated complex needs who may have behaviour challenges. The home provides longer-term placements for individuals who require round the clock care and support. Person‑centred planning is at the heart of everything we do based on each individual’s specific need.
Your Day-to-Day
* Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach to all individuals in our care
* Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support
* Learn about individuals’ specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way
* Assist with medical and welfare needs and report as required
* Support management in the day‑to‑day running of the service
* Undertake supervisory and administrative responsibilities
* Safeguard
* Maintain a safe and clean environment for all.
You are
* An experienced Support Worker ready to step up to a new challenge
* Genuinely driven to make a difference in people’s lives
* Confident, assertive and ambitious for yourself, service users and the organisation
* An excellent communicator and good team player
* Sensitive and intuitive with the energy required to provide a trusting, stimulating and varied environment
* Able to empower and support service user independence
* Organised, committed and keen to develop your management and leadership skills.
