Job Title: Civils Dumper Driver / Groundworker Utilities / Civil Engineering Projects Location: Holsworthy (covering sites across the South West) Rate: £25.00 per hour Hours: 45 hours per week Job Type: Temporary / Contract Start Date: Approximately 6 weeks from now Duration: Ongoing moving across multiple projects throughout the South West Dumper Driver / Groundworker Utilities / Civil Engineering Projects We are currently recruiting for an experienced Dumper Driver / Groundworker to support groundworks and utilities projects starting in Holsworthy, with ongoing work across multiple infrastructure sites throughout the South West. This role will involve operating site dumpers to transport materials across site, while also supporting groundworks and utility installation teams with general civil engineering tasks including trenching, ducting, drainage, and infrastructure works. This is ongoing temporary contract work, with workers moving between projects as work progresses across the region. Key Responsibilities Operate site dumpers safely and efficiently on construction and utilities sites Transport materials, aggregates, and equipment across site Carry out groundworks duties including trenching, digging, and assisting with utility installations Support installation of drainage, ducting, and civil infrastructure Assist machine operators, supervisors, and groundworks teams Conduct daily dumper checks and basic maintenance Ensure compliance with site health & safety procedures Follow site instructions, drawings, and work plans Requirements Proven experience working as a Dumper Driver and Groundworker on civil engineering or utilities projects Experience supporting groundworks and infrastructure installations Strong understanding of site safety procedures Ability to work across multiple project sites Good teamwork and communication skills Essential Qualifications CPCS or NPORS Dumper Ticket EUSR Card (Essential) CSCS Card Project & Location Details The project will initially start in Holsworthy, with work continuing across various infrastructure and utilities sites throughout the South West. This role is temporary contract work tied to project delivery, offering ongoing opportunities across multiple civil engineering and utilities projects .
