Are you an experienced and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for your next role in a vibrant and welcoming primary school setting?
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a well-regarded primary school in Sunderland seeking to appoint a skilled HLTA to provide support across year groups. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident HLTA to make a real impact, supporting learning and covering classes as needed across the school.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality learning activities to whole classes in the absence of the teacher
* Work closely with teaching staff to plan, prepare, and assess learning activities
* Support pupils’ academic and social development across various year groups
* Provide targeted interventions where necessary
* Uphold school policies and promote a positive learning environment
The ideal candidate will:
* Hold HLTA status or equivalent experience
* Have recent, relevant experience in a UK primary school
* Be confident managing whole class teaching
* Demonstrate excellent communication and classroom management skills
* Be flexible, adaptable, and committed to pupil progress
