As a Consultant Stroke Physician, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans, participate in clinical research, and contribute to educational initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic stroke conditions
* Develop and implement evidence-based treatment protocols
* Collaborate closely with neurology, rehabilitation, and other specialty teams
* Lead stroke prevention and rehabilitation programs
* Participate in clinical audits, research, and continuous quality improvement initiatives
* Provide training and mentorship to junior medical staff
* Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and prognosis
Requirements
* Board certification or equivalent qualification in Stroke Medicine, Neurology, or related specialties
* Proven experience as a Consultant Stroke Physician in a clinical setting
