Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in fine dining and catering environments. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of food production while maintaining food safety standards. You will work closely with the kitchen management team to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Duties

* Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation.
* Manage inventory control, including ordering and receiving supplies as needed.
* Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, promoting teamwork and effective communication.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
* Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for seasonal offerings.
* Monitor food production processes to ensure consistency and quality across all dishes.
* Participate in catering events, providing excellent service in various settings.
* Handle food safely and efficiently, minimizing waste while maximizing flavor.

Experience

* Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar culinary role within the food industry.
* Banquet experience is highly desirable, along with supervisory or team management experience.
* Familiarity with dietary department operations is a plus.
* Strong knowledge of food handling practices, safety regulations, and kitchen management procedures.
* Experience in fine dining establishments or high-volume restaurants is preferred.
* Culinary degree or relevant certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide kitchen staff effectively.
