Amour Recruitment are delighted to be working with a leading transport company in the West Sussex region.
We are looking for a Transport Manager to join their team.
As the main lead and reporting to the Managing Director, your responsibility will be to oversee the efficient running of the business upholding their licensing obligations, fleet management and
ensuing compliance is all up to date with all legal areas including tachographs and drivers’ hours.
Your main responsibilities will include :
1. Fleet Management - Ensure all vehicles are clean, roadworthy and compliant with all legal and company regulations.
2. People Management - Assist HR in recruitment, plan initial training, ongoing training and CPC courses.
3. Cost Management - Manage the transportations budget, taking into account fleet maintenance and vehicle replacement.
4. Route Planning - Work with the operations team to plan the most efficient, cost and time effective routes for deliveries.
Salary from £40,000 to £45,000 per annum
