This is an excellent opportunity to join a globally recognised engineering business and play a key role in delivering first-class customer support on a long-term contract.Your new role Your job will be to act as the single point of contact for a portfolio of customer accounts, managing the full order life cycle from start to finish. You’ll make sure orders are processed accurately and shipped on time, keeping customers updated throughout and working closely with internal teams across logistics, manufacturing, quality and parts distribution.Key responsibilities include:Managing the full order life cycle, including new customer setup, order entry and modifications, escalations and logistics coordinationActing as the main contact for customers, ensuring clear and proactive communicationProviding accurate order documentation and regular updatesResolving complex customer queries by understanding internal systems, processes and practicesWorking with senior support for escalations and ensuring accurate records of all interactionsEnsuring orders meet export and compliance requirementsSubmitting non-conformance reports through the Quality Management SystemSupporting customer visits, reporting and departmental improvement workContributing to ongoing process improvement initiativesWhat you'll need to succeed We’re looking for someone with at least 2 years experience in customer order management or customer service within a manufacturing or engineering company.
