Science Teacher – Specialist SEN Setting
Slough, Permanent, M1–M6 Fringe + SEN Allowance
Reed Education are proud to be supporting a specialist SEN provision in Slough in their search for a dedicated and passionate Science Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis.
This setting provides education for students with a range of special educational needs, including social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs and additional learning difficulties. The school offers a nurturing, structured, and highly supportive environment where staff work collaboratively to help students thrive both academically and personally.
The Role
* Deliver engaging and differentiated Science lessons across Key Stages
* Support students with a variety of additional needs, adapting teaching strategies to suit individual learning styles
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
* Work closely with a multidisciplinary team including teaching assistants and support staff
* Contribute to behaviour management strategies and individual support plans
The Ideal Candidate
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Has experience working within SEN or a strong understanding and passion for supporting students with additional needs
* Demonstrates patience, resilience, and a commitment to inclusive education
* Has the ability to build strong relationships with students and colleagues
