Senior Manager – Music & Entertainment Accounting

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join our Business Management team, specialising in the Music & Entertainment sector. This is a key hire, combining hands‑on delivery, team leadership, and client relationship management, with a strong focus on supporting high‑profile clients and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.
* Manage a portfolio of high‑value clients across the music and entertainment industry (artists, talent, touring entities, production companies)
* Oversee and review delivery of core services including bookkeeping, management accounts, cashflow forecasting, and financial reporting
* Act as the primary point of contact, providing strategic financial guidance and ensuring exceptional client service
* Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of accountants and assistants
* Review work, ensure quality control, and support team development
* Allocate work effectively and manage team performance against deadlines
Hands‑on Accounting
* Remain actively involved in the preparation and review of accounts, VAT, and financial processes
* Support complex client requirements, including multi‑entity structures, royalties, and touring finances
Business Development & Market Presence
* Build and maintain relationships within the music and entertainment industry
* Identify and win new business opportunities
* Represent the firm in the market, attending events and networking within the sector
Process Improvement
* Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and client delivery
* Support implementation of systems and best practices across the team
Skills & Experience Required
* Strong experience within Business Management / Music & Entertainment accounting
* Proven track record managing a client portfolio and delivering high‑quality service
* Experience leading or mentoring a team
* Strong technical accounting knowledge (management accounts, VAT, financial reporting)
* Commercially aware with the ability to identify and win new business
* Excellent communication and relationship management skills
* Experience working with high‑profile or HNW clients
* Knowledge of royalties, touring, or entertainment‑specific financial structures
