Requirements
Must have:
- Strong interest in Operational Technology and industrial systems. - Basic understanding of IT or engineering principles. - Experienced working hands-on with hardware and factory-floor systems. - Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and develop technical skills. - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures. - Effective communicator able to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Comfortable working in fast-paced production environments. - Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between local sites.
Responsibilities:
- Support monitoring and maintenance of OT systems to ensure uptime and performance. - Assist with routine health checks and escalate issues where required. - Provide first-line support for OT incidents, working alongside IT, engineering, and production teams. - Troubleshoot industrial infrastructure including network equipment, industrial PCs, and factory-connected devices. - Support system patching, updates, and documentation in line with operational requirements. - Assist with installation, configuration, and replacement of OT hardware and software. - Contribute to system upgrades, rollouts, and integration projects. - Maintain accurate records including inventories, patch logs, and network documentation. - Support cybersecurity best practices, backup processes, and disaster recovery testing. - Work with third-party vendors during maintenance and installation activities.
