Johnson & Johnson MedTech is seeking a Technical Specialist to support EP procedures in the London area. The role combines technical support with sales responsibilities, aiming to meet sales targets, deliver training, and provide high‑level customer and clinical support within the assigned territory.
Responsibilities
* Provide technical support for EP procedures and deliver the sales target within the identified geographic area.
* Support, promote and upsell CARTO 3 procedures, contributing to catheter utilisation growth in line with the business plan.
* Offer clinical and technical expertise for cases performed with the CARTO 3 Navigation System.
* Deliver the customer training plan, effectively transferring knowledge to empower customers to use the Biosense kit independently.
* Follow mandatory training and attend local and overseas training programmes to maintain and develop required knowledge.
* Execute key marketing strategies, including the successful roll‑out of new products and innovations in partnership with regional New Technology Specialists.
* Contribute to developing innovative activities to achieve sales targets and enable the franchise to gain market share and differentiate from competition.
* Maintain and develop strong business relationships with key opinion leaders and other strategically important clinical and economic partners.
* Develop an in‑depth understanding of customers’ needs and objectives—both clinical and non‑clinical—to create tailored solutions that improve sales.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a clinical support specialist or physiologist within the medical device and/or EP field.
* 3‑D mapping experience preferred but not essential.
* Proficient in English, both verbal and written.
* Excellent listening skills and the ability to build positive relationships quickly.
* Capacity to acquire in‑depth product and procedure knowledge and effectively communicate with all EP lab partners.
* Self‑disciplined, organised, and able to take ownership of business objectives and time management.
* Initiative‑driven with a desire to succeed in a fast‑paced environment.
* A collaborator and entrepreneurial analytical mindset, able to influence thinking, behaviour, and dedication positively.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Full and clean driving licence required.
